Why use a Plyometric Fitt-BOX?
We know this will be a question that will get asked over and over.

A Fitt-BOX is perfect for Home Workouts

This type of training is perfect for home workouts, which has never been more relevant than right here and now. With all gyms in the UK currently closed; quality, effective home workouts have never been more important and more relevant to so many of us. We understand. We know. The benefits of plyometric workouts are huge considering it a workout that can be done at home. Plyometric training on a Plyo Box will:

Plyometric Training on a Fitt-BOX

A Fitt-BOX is so Versatile!

Although plyo boxes were first used for box jumps (or shock training as it was first termed in the 1950’s) there are a wide range and huge variety of exercises that can be done on them. A Fitt-BOX can be easily flipped over to accommodate a different type of exercise, for example, a push up is more likely to be done on the lowest side of the box.
Workouts on the Fitt-BOX can be done anywhere, outdoors, in a garage or front room. It can be easily stored, and takes up much less space than other bulky home workout equipment. And a huge advantage of using the Fitt-BOX is that a really effective workout can be done in just 15 minutes, which is perfect on days when there isn’t much time!

You can’t break a Fitt-BOX!

No matter how anyone uses a Fitt-BOX it is likely to take a beating! The Fitt-BOX is constructed from quality birch plywood which means it won’t flip or ‘give’ like a soft plyo box, and in comparison to a soft box this wooden box is largely inexpensive. The Fitt-BOX is sealed so it can be wiped clean after use.
A Fitt-BOX really is the only piece of gym equipment you will ever need at home! It’s just a brilliant way to mix up training – for variety, fun and results!

Which Fitt-BOX is right for me?

We have found a useful method in choosing a Fitt-BOX is to go by height.
We have developed an approximate guide on height in comparison to the height of the the Fitt-BOX.

Most using a plyometric box would get a reallyworthwhile workout from the The H Box which is 60cm x 50cm x 40cm.

However, plyometric exercises and box jumps are often done as conditioning exercises, so with that in mind you could opt for a lower setting on the box by flipping it over, or even use a smaller box and still get a really effective workout.

Whatever size you get, be sure to set it on a firm, flat, non slippy surface.

I’m worried about injury

There’s no denying that a workout on a Fitt-BOX is a tough workout!

You can do a really effective workout in 15 or 20 mins or up to half an hours training.

Most plyometric exercises are a form of strength training that involves explosive movements such as jumping and hopping, which works to increase power in the muscles.

Plyometric training is a full body strength and cardio workout designed to work muscles to their full potential in a short amount of time for maximum effect.

The benefits of plyometric workouts are huge considering is a workout that can be done at home. Plyometric training on a Fitt-BOX will:
• Increase performance
• Improve agility
• Improve power
• Improve speed
• Improve balance and stability.
• Enhance stamina
• Boost your metabolism
• Increase your cardiovascular fitness

If you are just beginning with jumping and hopping onto a Fitt-BOX you should undertake repetitive exercises at a lower intensity and / or a lower height for strengthening before attempting exercises at a more challenging height.

However, there are also a wide range of other exercises that don’t involve jumping!
