Wooden Plyo Fitt-BOX - fittBOX100% British made Plyometric Exercise Fitt-BOX |  Perfect for Home Workouts

Affordable and Quality Home Gym Equipment

I’m being very open and honest here, but every time we get good feedback, a 5* review or lovely positive comments about Fitt-BOX I almost burst with pride.

Fitt-BOX was founded with the intention of providing affordable and quality home gym equipment to anyone who needed it.  While our gyms are still closed, and so many of us still being restricted and having to stay at home, this has never been more relevant than right now.

But never did I think when we started this that I would be introduced to, AND contacted by so many remarkable and incredible people. As cliched as this may sound we are all taking our own personal journey towards something, something that many others, friends or followers know nothing about.

Team GB

So I’ll make no excuses for bouncing around the walls when Elite Marathon Runner Helen Davies messaged me on Instagram complimenting us on such a great and sought after product.  The next day Helen ordered the H Box, and this was the moment when I realised that Fitt-BOX really is delivering on the intention and really is for everyone.  No matter who you are this single piece of gym equipment will give you a high quality, effective and beneficial workout AT HOME.

Of course, I then made it my mission to find out more about Helen.  She is an extraordinary woman.  Selected to run for Team GB in 2010 Helen went to the Commonwealth Games in Delhi and in the same year the European Championships after finishing 2nd English Lady in London (8th Lady in race).

Winning the Hat-trick

Helen ran London Marathon again in 2012, and then took a break from running when she had her two children.  She then returned to marathon running in 2017 winning Brighton Marathon, a title she retained in 2018, and amazingly took again in 2019 where she ran a PB (2:34:06)!  It was from here she was selected to make her debut into Ultra Marathon running and again to represent Team GB; this time at the 50km World Championships in Brasov along with team-mate Aly Dixon.  Helen won a silver medal running a superb time of 3hrs 9minutes and 16 seconds.

As a Wife, Mum, Runner and Ultra-Runner myself (albeit recreational!) I have found myself in awe of Helen and how she manages her hugely busy life while continuing to train with her heart and soul.

The H Box

The H Box is now pretty much a fundamental part of Helen’s training on her journey to join Team GB’s elite ladies in London again this October.

Endorsed by her coach Lloyd Chapman at Loose Cannon Conditioning, her plyometric training will restart this week, ensuring that Helen won’t get left behind and keep her on top of her game.

I am extremely excited to be following Helen’s journey and we will be supporting her for every jump, hop and step she takes towards London, and beyond. You go Helen!
